Pregnancy tests

There are many pregnancy tests that will be offered to a woman during her pregnancy. Some procedures and tests are routine and some are optional depending on your preferences and the advice of your caregiver. If you have a medical condition such as diabetes, high blood pressure, epilepsy, thyroid or metabolic disorders, you may require more tests.

Here we provide information on each pregnancy test you could be offered, including an ultrasound, pap test, blood pressure or urine test, and genetic testing.
